The file type isn't accepted
The picker filters to supported types: tabular (.csv .tsv .xlsx .xls .json .parquet .sav), documents (.pdf .txt), images, audio and video. See the full table in Upload data & reference it. Export other formats to CSV first — for example SPSS .sav is accepted directly, but Stata .dta should be exported to CSV.
It uploaded, but the agent says it can't read it
- Encoding: CSVs saved from Excel in a non-UTF-8 code page may garble headers. Save as CSV UTF-8.
- Header row: the first row must be the column names; remove title rows above it.
- Merged cells or several tables per sheet in Excel: put one table per sheet, and name the sheet in your request.
- Biosignal exports need a time column (
time_s,time,t,timestamp) or a stated sampling rate: "the EEG is 256 Hz". - Scanned PDFs have no text layer; the literature skills can't read them.
Large files are slow or fail
Video and long audio are large; on a mobile connection uploads can time out. Use the desktop app to analyze recordings locally, or trim the recording to the segment you need.
The wrong file was used
When several uploads are in the session, name the one you mean with @: @pss_trial.xlsx Run the analysis on this file.
