Connect
Open Customize → Connectors and turn on Canva. Canva's page asks you to allow Neutropic; approve and you land back with your Canva name shown. The agent works with Canva through the official Canva MCP server, so it uses the same tools Canva provides to AI assistants. Each person signs in with their own Canva account. Tokens are stored encrypted on the server and refreshed automatically; Disconnect deletes them.
Permissions, tool by tool
Every tool starts as Ask each time. Canva offers about 50 tools, so the agent sees the 14 it needs by default; Expose all Standard tools on the connector page shows the rest (pages, presenter notes, thumbnails, editing, assets). Brand templates and brand kits, autofill, moving or creating folders, copying, merging or resizing designs, and AI image tools are blocked and hidden until you allow them.

Pick from the composer and export
+ → Connected apps → Canva shows your folders and designs as preview cards, like Canva itself; tick designs to import them — a single-page design comes in as PNG, a multi-page one (slides, documents) as one PDF. On a figure, Download → Canva uploads it and creates a new design with it. Decks can be sent to Canva from Export to… → Canva.
