Credits and tokens
A credit is $0.001 of managed model usage; roughly 1,000 tokens at standard rates. Every answer shows the tokens it used, and the profile menu shows the month's remaining balance. Turns on premium models cost more per token; Lite effort costs a fraction of Deep — see Effort levels & models.
- Monthly credits reset on your billing date; unused credits don't roll over.
- The daily cap spreads the month's allowance so one heavy day can't exhaust it. When today's tokens are used up, the composer says so and tells you when it refills (midnight, your time).
- Turns that run on your own API keys or a local model are never billed.
Always free
Local models and your own API keys, the core research skills, and reading everything you've already produced. The Free plan has no time limit.
Upgrade, downgrade, cancel
Open Upgrade plan from the profile menu (or /plan) to change plans. Checkout, plan changes and cancellation run through Paddle, our payment partner; receipts arrive by email. A discount code can be entered at checkout.
