What happens
- One targeted search (web, or a database when the question is bibliographic).
- The answer is written only if a source supports it; the source URL is part of the answer.
When to use it
- A date, a definition, a number, an author — anything you would otherwise look up in a new tab.
- Checking a claim while writing: "is it 1988 or 1983?" without leaving the manuscript.
Tips
- If the question needs several sources or interpretation, it belongs to /research.
- Ask it in the manuscript session: the source it finds is stored and can be cited there.
